Update and a mandatory question, lol.

Hey everyone. l figured I'd update you guys and let you know that l finally Sundown had my sweet little angel girl.. l was having irregular contractions for 3 Registered User days, and on Thursday, they were getting worse and worse. At 1:00 am my Joined: Monday, 7th of June 2010, 07:10:25 contractions had been 5 minutes apart for an hour, and then changed BACK Posts: 1317 to 15 apart, so l decided l needed pain medication at least to help deal. They checked me at the hospital and l was still only dilated
1-2 cm. Big let down. However, l was having contractions 5-10 min apart. l
begged them to let me stay, and they gave me two atasol 30s and said walk
around for 2 hours and come back; if I am not dilated more l have to go
home.
l went downstairs to the cafeteria, and luckily it was
just the two of us it seemed in the hospital. l snuck a bite to eat, and
we sat at a table. My contractions were worsening! l was so happy. Then
all of a sudden l felt a pop. l was not sure if it was a gas bubble or a
kick, but then l felt a gush of water and l knew it was not either!/>
l had to walk all the way back up to the case room holding onto my
crotch, LOL, leaking amniotic fluid the whole way. Anyways, went up and
proudly told them that my water broke, and then they HAD to keep me. Ha!
Take that.
That was 3:00 am, and when they checked me l was
dilated to a 4. They put us into the birthing room. The pain was
unbelievable. All l could do was grab onto something and whimper. Aghhhh,
cant even think about it.
What really helped me was sitting on
a stool with the shower head spraying warm water over my belly. Oh god, it
was a god send.Without it l would not of made it. Also, l sat in the
rocking chair when l was not in the shower, to help labor progress faster.
It sure seemed to work! Well, actually, they checked me again and l was
only a4, still, so then l cried and gave in and had the shot of some sort
of gravol. It did not help the pain but it made me sleepy and out of it,
and l relaxed. Half an hour after giving me the shot l was feeling like
pressure so they checked and l was an 8!!! Happiest moment of my life.
Soon, l was ready to push and 45 minutes later my beautiful daughter was
born. (7:45 am).
Her name is Annika Belle, 7 days late, and 7
pounds on the button. She is absoloutely beautiful, and I am not just
saying that because she is my daughter. Seriously, guys. Haha. She has a
little bit of hair, and it is white blonde. Sweetest nose. No bumps,
scratches, or mishapen head. Amazing.
Anyways, needed to vent
my story. There it is! l hope all you other mommy is to be are doing okay.
It is so worth it. You all have a big treat to look forward to; the first
day is so amazing. l am so in love!
NOW for the question so
some jerks do not report me: What are you going to name your baby? Girl or
boy? Due when?

Congratulations!! You did it!! I have answered some of ur Lizz-Bizz questions & you have definitely answered some of mine. I love her name, it Registered User sounds so princess like. How lucky that you had such a perfect newborn, not Joined: Sunday, 2nd of May 2010, 21:31:09 all of us are that lucky haha. My daughter was born with a cone head & 2 Posts: 1999 hematomas from the vacuum suction. I am so glad ur water broke, I was in Viewed 1195 times ur same predicament 4 years ago & was dilated to 5cm without regular
contractions & they sent me home. I was so afraid to go back & be sent
home again that I labored to 9cm at home before my mom insisted I go in.
Some hospitals are just ridiculous with some of their rules. So anyway,
congrats again.
I am naming my daughter Kara Nicole or son Hayden Ryan & am due 3-29-10-
11 weeks today-hopefully by this time next week my nausea stops!!

Wow sounds like the same labor I had except I was puking the Terr whole time I was giving birth but I waited til my contractions were 1-2 Registered User minutes apart before I went to the hospital I said this has to be it then Joined: Monday, 26th of April 2010, 14:29:28 I got there & nope only dialted to 1.5cm,lol,big let down I know.My Posts: 934 contractions were very irregular I would have them & actually feel them Viewed 10718 times for 30 minutes then they would go away for an hour.It was crazy they
hooked me up to a monitor to see what was goin on with the contractions
well they ended up giving me that IV that had some stuff in it that was to
help make ur contractions regular well it worked for their monitor but not
for me I I would feel the contractions for 30 minutes then they would go
away for an hour but it was still showin that I was having them on the
screen so they decided that natural child birth would be better so that I
would be able to feel when to push rather than them tell me when to push
so we did the natural thing & I had him the next evening.I was in labor
for a total of 34 1/2 hours.
So I sorta know ur pain on the contractions bit didnt want you to feel
like you were alone.
Now for ur question.
I find out what Im having on september 14th cant wait the days are
crawling by.But as for names Im hoping for a boy to name him Dixon Dale
after his dad & if its a girl we are thinking Dixie somethin probably
Dixie Lynn or Dixie Anne or Dixie leigh.Were not real sure yet on a girls
name.
The due date is 2-3-2010.

OMG! Congratulations! I am so happy for you! And thank you for fashionista taking the time to tell the story of your labor and delivery, too many new Registered User mommas come on here and just say ''Welp, I had my baby!'' and leave it at Joined: Tuesday, 20th of April 2010, 03:07:58 that.
